This tool downloads one post at a time, so the link must identify exactly one video or photo post. Profiles, live streams, sounds, and search pages do not.
The solution
- Open the exact post, tap Share, then Copy link, that link always qualifies.
- Valid forms, tiktok.com/@name/video/... or the short vt.tiktok.com/xxxx.
- Links to profiles, live streams, sounds, hashtags, and searches cannot work, they are collections, not files.
- A valid-looking link that still fails usually means the post has been deleted or set to private.
Why this happens
A downloader requires one concrete media file to retrieve. A profile or a live stream is a changing collection, there is no single file behind the link.
On desktop, the address bar of an open video is itself a valid link, on phones, rely on the Share menu.
